Patterns To Boldly Knit What No One Has Knit Before - I love knitting geometric shapes in an improvisational or freeform style using imaginative and unusual colors. I have been teaching many different kinds of knitting classes for several years at knitting guilds, knitting conventions, yarn stores and in my private studio. I have a pattern line of over 50 designs, some of which are quite unusual and unique. In recent years I have focused on freeform knitting and even published a DVD in 2006 entitled “Introduction to Freeform Knitting.” My patterns reflect my obsession with geometric shapes, particularly triangles. My style is to use many, many yarns of different textures and fibers which I draw mostly from my yarn stash. The No. 1 inspiration is the color combination. Sometimes, the entire garment will be knit from magic balls (different lengths of yarn tied together and rolled into a ball). A lot of my garments will be asymmetrical and I always try to have magnificent buttons. I'm very excited to make some of my most recent patterns available online now, visit my Etsy.com Store to see them all.
